These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all bookings made by Everest Hiking Team Pvt. Ltd. and include trekking, tours and other travel services. Booking with us confirms that you have read and understood these Terms. Everest Hiking Team Pvt. Ltd. is governed by the laws of Nepal, and all legal issues or disputes are under the jurisdiction of the Kathmandu courts.
Everest Hiking Team Pvt. Ltd. will only confirm a booking after it has received the agreed-upon deposit or payment in full.
All services, arrangements, and availability are provisional until payment has been received. Everest Hiking Team Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking before confirmation, without liability.
Once the booking is confirmed, all details, including dates, itinerary, inclusions and other information, will be sent in writing.
A deposit is required to secure any trip. If a written agreement specifies otherwise, the remaining balance is due before departure. Payments can be made by bank transfer, in cash or any other method approved. All transaction fees, bank charges or currency conversion costs are the responsibility of the client. If the balance is not paid by the due date, the booking may be cancelled and the deposit forfeited, depending upon the circumstances. Prices and Changes
All prices are based on the current cost, which includes permits, accommodations, transportation, wages and government fees.
Prices can change due to factors outside our control, such as fuel prices, inflation, changes in government policy, or permit adjustments.
In most cases, the agreed price becomes final upon completion of the payment after booking, except for the case where a client seeks any changes, upgrade, or additional services.
All cancellations should be made in writing.
Refund eligibility will depend on the timing of cancellation and expenses already incurred by Everest Hiking Team Pvt. LTD. which could include permits, hotel bookings, transport, and hiring guides.
Deposits are generally non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If you cancel close to your departure date, there may be higher cancellation fees or no refund.
Once the trip begins, there are no refunds for services that have not been used.
If Everest Hiking Team Pvt. Ltd. cancels your trip due to safety concerns, severe weather, government restrictions, or unforeseeable circumstances, clients may choose either:
Transfer their booking to another available departure date; or
Receive a refund (full or partial depending on recoverable costs).
Clients must ensure that they are fit enough to undertake trekking and travel activities in Nepal across hills and mountains. This may include high altitudes and remote terrain as well as unpredictable weather conditions. Participation is entirely at the client's own risk.
Clients must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect their safety during the trip.
Clients are responsible for obtaining travel insurance that includes high-altitude trekking coverage, emergency evacuation, medical expenses, and personal injury coverage.
It is the client's responsibility to ensure that they have valid passports and visas, as well as other relevant documents, to enter Nepal.
Everest Hiking Team Pvt. Ltd. can help organize permits for trekking as well as local paperwork if needed. However, these permits are subject to approval by the relevant government authorities.
Under no circumstances will Everest Hiking Team Pvt. Ltd. be responsible for any inconvenience caused due to incomplete or invalid documentation provided by our clients.
Adventure travel in Nepal requires flexibility due to changing weather, terrain, and operating conditions. While Everest Hiking Team Pvt. Ltd. designs all trips carefully in advance, changes can become unavoidable at times. We always keep our clients' safety in mind while making any alterations to our itineraries.
An itinerary change can occur before or during the tour owing to weather issues, flight delays, road blocks, political issues or even natural calamities or health problems.
Everest Hiking Team Pvt. Ltd. reserves all rights to change routes, transportation, accommodation, activities or schedules at any time.
When possible, alternative arrangements will be made to a similar standard.
The clients acknowledge that itinerary changes are part of the adventure travel experience in Nepal.
Everest Hiking Team Pvt. Ltd., its guides, and all other operators make final decisions regarding changes to the itinerary based on safety.
Everest Hiking Team Pvt. Ltd. will not be responsible for any changes that are caused by circumstances outside of its reasonable control.
Clients accept the risks inherent in trekking and adventure travel. These include, but are not restricted to, altitude sickness, weather hazards or injury, delays with transportation and limited medical treatment available in remote areas.
By signing up for the trip, the customer accepts all of these risks.
Everest Hiking Team Pvt. Ltd., its guides, and any other third parties shall not be liable for injuries, losses, damages, delays, or additional expenses resulting from:
Natural disasters
Weather conditions
Third-party service providers
Unrest in the political sphere
Flight cancellations or delays
Any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Everest Hiking Team Pvt. Ltd. provides services based on the itinerary that is agreed upon. Some of these may include accommodations, meals, transport, guide, and porter services.
Due to the remote nature of certain destinations, minor variations in accommodation, transportation, meals, and services may occur without materially affecting the overall experience.
There can be a slight variation in the method of transport and accommodation.
Everest Hiking Team Pvt. Ltd. will make sure that the trip is safe, enjoyable and respectful to everyone involved, including clients, staff, and the local community members.
Customers must respect the local customs and traditions, religious sites, culture, environmental guidelines, and cultural practices.
At all times, respect is expected from guides, porters and company staff as well as fellow travelers and local residents.
No harassment, discrimination or abusive language will be tolerated.
The client must adhere to reasonable instructions given by the guide and representatives of the company, especially in safety concerns.
Everest Hiking Team Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to remove a client without refund from a trip if the behavior of the client threatens safety, comfort or well-being for others, or disrupts the trip operations.
There are various events that are beyond the reasonable control of Everest Hiking Team Pvt. Ltd. which could affect travel arrangements or the activities of our journeys. We will do everything possible to avoid any disruptions and offer help whenever possible.
Everest Hiking Team shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, itinerary changes, or disruptions caused by force majeure events.
Events that are considered force majeure include, but are not limited to: natural disasters such as landslides and floods; earthquakes or severe weather conditions; government actions including travel restrictions, strike action, disruptions in transportation, wars and terrorism.
When possible, alternative arrangements will be made, but the availability of these cannot be guaranteed.
In such cases, refunds, credits, or compensation will depend on the service provider's policies and the circumstances.
Everest Hiking Team Pvt. Ltd. aims to resolve complaints fairly, promptly, and reasonably.
Clients must report to their guide or representative about any problem or issue they may experience during their trip.
When clients notify the company about such issues as soon as possible, then there are chances of resolving the problem before the completion of the trip itself.
Investigation into the issue might become difficult because of the passage of time.
Everest Hiking Team Pvt. Ltd. takes constructive feedback positively and encourages clients to share their valuable feedback in order to provide them with better services in future.
These Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time in accordance with any modifications in company policy or changes in laws or operational procedure. Everest Hiking Team Pvt. Ltd. holds all rights to amend, modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Before making a reservation, clients are advised to read the Terms and Conditions.
Acceptance of the Terms is implied by your continued use of Everest Hiking Team Pvt. Ltd. services.
By booking with Everest Hiking Team Pvt. Ltd., clients confirm they have read and understood these Terms and Conditions. The client agrees to follow all the policies, guidelines, requirements and responsibilities outlined in this agreement during the booking process as well as the duration of the trip.
The Terms and Conditions are a legally binding agreement between Everest Hiking Team Pvt. Ltd. and the client. Booking confirmations, payments of deposits, full payments, or participation in a trip organized by Everest Hiking Team Pvt. Ltd. will be considered as acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.
